Age and residency verification is MANDATORY on an annual basis, as required by Little League International. ALL league age 9+ and any league age 8 players who wish to enter the AA draft MUST complete their Document Check before they can participate in Player Evaluations, which are also mandatory. Tee Ball/Rookie/Single A players will not be placed on a team until they are able to complete their Document Check. Challengers players are EXEMPT from Document Check.
For Spring 2023, you have 2 options to complete your Document Check:
1) Upload your documents during online registration. The upload process is secure, and all uploaded documents are automatically deleted by the system in 6 months.
2) Bring your documents to the In-Person Document Check event on Saturday, December 17th at Heroes Park (25420 Jeronimo Rd., Lake Forest) between 8:00am-10:00am.
The Documents required are as follows:
- Certified copy of player’s birth certificate - must have raised seal, photocopies will NOT be accepted. The birth certificate is the only acceptable form for verification of age - passports, hospital records, etc. cannot be accepted per Little League International rules.
