Opening Day Details

Come join us for a morning of excitement and fun as we kick off the Spring 2023 little league season!

Where: Lake Forest Sports Park baseball fields
When: Saturday, March 4th - Ceremony begins promptly at 9:00 so all players, coaches and team parents should be together as a team and on the field no later than 8:55am

Players should wear their full uniform (team jersey, hat, baseball pants, socks & belt) but no cleats.

Agenda:

- LFLL President welcome and introduction
- City of Lake Forest Mayor welcome
- Flag Ceremony presented by the Boy Scouts
- National Anthem
- Little League pledge
- First Pitch
- Team Introductions

Opening Day Games (all games start @10:30am):
- Majors Ballerz vs. Assassins (Field 1)
- AAA Rippers vs. Bombers (Field 2)
- AA Sharks vs. Aviators (Field 3)

**Additional games to be played at Heroes Park starting at 12:30pm

Activities:
- DJ & music
- Vendor booths with free giveaways for the kids (see list of vendors/sponsors HERE)
- Raffle tickets for sale and great prizes given away throughout the day (you do not need to be present to win, just hold on to your raffle tickets to claim any prizes)
- LFLL Fan Gear for sale (if you missed the chance to place an order online)
- Food (Snack Bar will be open, serving hot dogs fresh off the grill; Handel's delicious homemade ice cream and the Kona Ice truck will also be there with a portion of the sales being donated back to LFLL)
- FIVE bounce houses, including a giant obstacle course (all are FREE for all kids, including siblings and friends of LFLL players)
