Spring 2024 Important Dates

Parent Info Night: Monday, December 11 - 7:00pm - LF Sports Park meeting room - For parents with players who are new to our league and would like to learn more about our program and what to expect this Spring season, and for those returning parents who may have questions about the upcoming season.

In-Person Doc Check: Saturday, December 16 - 8:00am - Heroes Park - If you have not completed Doc Check online, you will receive a separate email from our Player Agent and must bring your documents to this event. If you have not received any emails from the Player Agent, then your player is all set. Doc Check must be completed before Player Evaluations (AA and above) and before team placement (Single A and below). Challengers players are not required to complete Doc Check.

Player Evaluations: Sunday, January 7 - all day - Heroes Park - Evaluations are MANDATORY for all league age 9+ players (excl. Challengers) and are required for all league age 8 players who would like to be eligible to enter the AA draft. Please be on the lookout for a separate email to be sent out this week with additional details and to sign up for a specific time slot for your player. Priority signups will be given to those players who have already completed Doc Check! Evaluations are only applicable to those players who are signed up for the "Drafted Divisions".

MLB Pitch, Hit & Run: **MOVED TO BE PART OF OPENING DAY** - Heroes Park - This will be LFLL's first time hosting this event, which is open for children 7-14 years old. Athletes will demonstrate their abilities on pitching, hitting & running, and their measurements will be recorded. Based on their scores, participants can advance from a local event to a Team Championship and then to the Finals. More info and signups to come.

Team Assignments Announced: late January - Teams will be finalized, and you should be hearing from your Manager/Head Coach at this time with information about practice days/times and other logistical matters for the season.

Opening Day: Saturday, March 2 - 8:30am - Heroes Park - The festivities will begin with a parade of teams at 9:00am, followed by various activities, raffles, music, and of course baseball games throughout the day to kickoff the Spring 2023 season. It will be a fun day for the whole family! More details to come.

Picture Day: Sunday, March 17 - Heroes Park - time TBD - Team and individual pictures will be taken by a crew of professional photographers. Each player will receive a standard photo package at no charge, and additional prints and other items will be available for purchase. Teams will be assigned specific time slots based on practice schedules, etc. More details to come.

Angels Day: Sunday, May 26 - Angels Stadium - Friends and families of LFLL will have the opportunity to purchase special tickets through the league which will allow players to parade around the field with other teams and leagues from all over Orange County. More details to come.
